Job Title: Software Engineer – Real-Time Operating Systems


Position Overview
DDC-I, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a software engineer with experience as a developer or power user of Real-Time Operating Systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience in development and maintenance of RTOS, or
  • Experience with RTOS as a power user configuring RTOSes to specific targets, incl. Board Support Packages, device drivers
  • Solid knowledge of the C programming language
  • Experience with an object oriented language
  • Experience in assembly language programming
  • Experience with and interest in the DO-178B certification process
  • BSEE/BSCS/BSCE in Computer Science or equivalent. MSCS/MSEE/MSCE is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for customer care initiatives where customers have direct access to DDC-I development engineers
  • Availability for occasional travel to customer site as needed

Additional Considerations:

  • Specific RTOS experience (Deos (preferably), Integrity, VxWorks, LynxOS, POSIX or ARINC 653 Embedded OS's)
  • Experience with Power Architecture technology and Pentium processor architectures
  • Experience with Unix and Windows host operating systems
  • Full-time employment preferred, however we are open to independent contracting

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager– Real-Time Operating Systems


Position Overview
DDC-I, Inc. has a unique opportunity for an experienced sales manager. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for creating new sales of DO-178 certifiable RTOSes.

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable of the avionics market
  • Experience in technical software sales, such as RTOSes, compilers, or other tools
  • Ability to ferret out new sales opportunities, initiate engagement (e.g., cold call), and drive through the sales processes towards building a long-term & successful customer relationship
  • Must be self-starter and self-managed
  • Diligent in following sales processes
  • Long-term and high-integrity sales mentality

Job Description:

  • High-value (six or seven figure) sales, targeting the high-end of the RTOS market
  • Regional territory sales management for technical software products and services
  • Primary responsibility is development of new customers, promoting the differentiation of DDC-I as a company and the benefits of our products. This requires customer targeting, strategic sales processes, cold calling, working with C-level management, etc.
  • Further develop tier 1 customer relations
