Technical Marketing Manager /Field Applications Engineer
Position Overview:
Technical Marketing Manager / Field Application Engineer (FAE) is responsible for technical sales activities in new prospects and existing customers. Individual contributor will work closely with Sales, Engineering and Marketing to ensure overall technical design proposal meets customer requirements. FAE will have in-depth, hands-on experience with DDC-I’s Deos DO-178C certifiable RTOS and tools with the ability to present and demonstrate the solutions to Customers and Partners. FAE is a critical part of the Sales process and must be capable of displaying in-depth technical knowledge of Deos and our tools, competitive products and solutions as well as current technologies and the avionics market. This position can be worked remotely from anywhere in the US, and requires the employee to be classified as a US Person (by the US laws and regulations).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales, and engineering to communicate technical solutions to customers and communicate customer feedback to engineering
- Ability to work as a highly technical problem solver who understands system architecture, hardware and software interaction.
- Have a good understanding of firmware, boot software, hardware software integration, device drivers, operating systems, application software, and their interaction that can cause system issues.
- Develop and review systems solutions, technical bid responses and presentations.
- Work with avionics systems developers to convert prospects to design wins and transform them into corporate revenue.
- Manage and lead cross-functional teams during investigation and resolution of problems in the field.
- Visit on-site customer facilities and present DDC-I's product portfolio and how it can solve the customer's requirements.
- Work cross-department to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
- Create demo's of DDC-I and partner products for tradeshows and customer meetings.
- Support 3rd party partners integrating their products with the Deos RTOS and tools.
- Create technical white papers, trade publication articles, papers for technical symposia (create and present), and other thought leadership activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors' or Masters' degree in engineering discipline; computer science, computer engineering and electrical engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 year related experience with software certification to the guidance of DO-178 preferred.
- Strong background and experience with ARM, PowerPC and/or x86 processors
- RTOS system design understanding and application diagnostics skills
- Understanding of multi-core processor execution and hardware
- Understanding of processor execution from system boot through application dispatch
- Good working knowledge of various software technologies - networking, device drivers, operating systems, virtual addressing (space partitioning), scheduling concepts (time partitioning), MMU and cache operation.
- Experience in the avionics marketplace
- Ability to quickly understand customers technical requirements, strong technical communication, and presentation skills.
- A self starter with abilities to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Travel required, typically from 25% to 35% of time
- Ability to work remotely.

Software Engineer – Real-Time Operating Systems (Multiple Openings)
Position Overview
DDC-I, Inc is looking for talented people to join the software development team of DDC-I's Industry Leading DO-178C Certifiable - Deos™ multicore operating system with SafeMC™ Technology.
This candidate will contribute to the continued evolution of the Deos Real Time Operating System (RTOS) focusing on RTOS related features for safety critical applications. Deos' development began in 1995 and it has been developed with complete verification evidence to the guidance of DO-178 since the development of requirements for the first line of software. Deos was first audited to Design Assurance Level A (DAL A) during the certification of the Bombardier Global Express in 1998 and since that first deployment it has been used as a platform for dozens of avionics functions and is flying on 10's of thousands of aircraft worldwide.
The main responsibilities of this position will be to contribute to the development, maintenance, enhancement, testing and verification of the RTOS technologies to the guidance of DO-178C DAL A. The position will work with a variety of target platforms (PowerPC, ARM, Intel) working closely with a distributed development team of safety critical software experts.

Requirements:
- 5+ years development experience with Embedded RTOS experience, Deos experience a huge plus.
- RTCA DO-178C software development experience a huge plus
- Experience in the development and testing of real-time systems or applications.
- Practical experience with both the C and C++ language and at least one microprocessor assembly language.
- Strong Debugging and problem solving skills.
- Experience with Embedded Tools a plus.
- Experience with Safety Standards or Certification is required.
- BSCS/BSCE/BSEE or Equivalent.
- Masters degree is an asset.

Position Overview
DDC-I is currently in search of a Software Developer with Java and Eclipse experience to join our team. DDC-I provides software for safety critical embedded software developers including DO-178C DAL A certifiable real-time operating systems, compilers, debuggers, integrated development environments (IDE) and Ada run-time systems.
