DDC-I, a leading supplier of software and professional services for mission- and safety-critical applications, today announced that it is exhibiting and presenting two technical papers at the inaugural SAE Aerospace Electronics and Avionics Systems Conference, which will be held at the Marriott Phoenix Mesa in Phoenix, AZ from October 30 – November 1, 2012.

DDC-I will showcase its safety-critical real-time operating system Deos, Eclipse-based OpenArbor development tools, and DO-178B certification services and aviation pedigree at its exhibit in booth #30. The technical papers will focus on reusing certified, safety-critical avionics software; and ARINC 653 Part 4, a subset of ARINC 653 Part 1 that brings the benefit of 653p1-style standards compliance to the majority of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) on next-generation aircraft.

The inaugural SAE Aerospace Electronics and Avionics Systems Conference will focus on efficiency optimization for modern aircraft, including the closer integration of systems and optimization of power/thermal/energy management with support of novel avionics, integrated vehicle health management and control system architectures.
