DDC-I to Exhibit at Aero India 2019

Bengaluru, India. February 20, 2019.  DDC-I, a leading supplier of software and professional services for mission- and safety-critical applications, today announced that it will exhibit at the Aero India show from February 20-24 in Bengaluru, India at the Yelahanka Air Force Station. DDC-I will join its regional embedded systems distributor, Embedded Software Development Systems (ESDS), in their booth (Hall F, Space # 3.1 ) to showcase DDC-I’s Deos real-time operating system, the industry’s most advanced DO-178 certifiable safety-critical RTOS for avionics applications.

“We’re excited to be part of Air India and look forward to working with ESDS to deliver best-in-class safety-critical software solutions to aircraft manufacturers targeting the burgeoning India defense and civil aviation markets,” said Greg Rose, vice president of marketing and product management at DDC-I. “DDC-I has been a pioneer in providing mission- and safety-critical software to the military and aerospace industry for over 35 years and will continue to provide that leadership on a worldwide basis.”

Deos is a field proven, safety-critical, avionics RTOS that is used to host a multitude of flight critical functions, such as air data computers, air data inertial reference units, cockpit video, displays and flight instrumentation, flight management systems, engine management, and many more.  Built from the ground up for safety-critical applications, Deos was the first

RTOS certified to DO-178 DAL A and is the only certifiable time- and space-partitioned COTS RTOS that has been created using RTCA DO-178, Level A processes from the very first day of product development. Deos features deterministic real-time response as well as time and space partitioning. Deos also features patented slack scheduling and cache partitioning, which enables it to deliver higher CPU utilization than any other certifiable safety-critical COTS RTOS.

Aero India is a biennial air show and aviation exhibition held in Bengaluru, India at the Yelahanka Air Force Station.
