BOOTH # A24
Munich, Germany. March 11, 2019. DDC-I, a leading supplier of software and professional services for mission- and safety-critical applications, today announced that it will exhibit at the Avionics Expo Europe from March 12-13 at the MOC Event Center in Munich, Germany. At the show, DDC-I will provide a live demonstration of an integrated safety-critical system running high-end graphics. Utilizing NAI’s Custom-on-Standard-Architecture, the integrated system will feature DDC-I’s DO-178 Deos real-time operating system running CoreAVI’s safety-critical OpenGL SC-based graphic drivers and ENSCO IData embedded display software.
“DDC-I is at the forefront of interoperability, certification and standardization efforts in the avionics industry, and has been a leading provider of mission- and safety-critical software for over 35 years,” said Greg Rose, vice president of marketing and product management at DDC-I. “Our best-in-class DO-178 real-time operating system not only employs advanced partitioning and scheduling technology that enhances performance and safety criticality, but does so with standard protocols and interfaces that enhance software reuse, portability, interoperability.”
DDC-I’s Deos is a field proven, safety-critical, avionics RTOS that is used to host a multitude of flight critical functions, such as air data computers, air data inertial reference units, cockpit video, displays and flight instrumentation, flight management systems, engine management, and many more. Built from the ground up for safety-critical applications, Deos was the first RTOS certified to DO-178 DAL A, and is the only certifiable time- and space-partitioned COTS RTOS that has been created using RTCA DO-178, Level A processes from the very first day of its product development.
